Bluestone (irregular flagstone)
Bluestone is a sandstone that has been quarried for decades in the eastern United States.
As an irregular flagstone, bluestone is most commonly gray to green and brown.
Bluestone that is to be set in mortar is typically 3/4"-1 1/4"
thick. Bluestone that is to be set in sand is typically 1 1/4"-2
1/4" thick.
